Privacy policy

• The photos you upload.
• What you type for your video: your pet's name, dates, your message and your "from" line, and captions if you add them.
• Your email address, and a recipient's name and email if you send the video as a gift.
• Your choices: template, tier, format and music.
• Payment details are collected by Lemon Squeezy, not by us. We never see your card number.
• A scrambled form of your IP address, for a short time, to protect the site from abuse.

• To make your preview and your video.
• To email you the link to your video, and to send it to a gift recipient if you ask us to.
• To answer your questions and handle refunds.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use your photos for anything other than your video.

• Your photos are resized in your browser and uploaded to private storage. Only our systems can open them.
• They are deleted automatically after 3 days, whether you order or not.
• We never edit, retouch or generate your photos, and no generative AI is used on them. A small recognition model runs in your own browser to find where your pet and the people are, only so the video keeps them in frame. Your photos are not sent to any AI service.

• To stop abuse, we count how many requests come from each internet connection. For this we keep only a scrambled form of your IP address, which can't be turned back into the address, and we delete it within a day.
• Before you create an order or send a gift, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you're a person and not a bot. Most people see nothing; sometimes it asks you to tick a box. For this check, Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical details about your browser and device, and uses them only to tell people from bots.

• Uploaded photos: 3 days.
• Unpaid previews: 3 days, then they expire with the photos.
• Your finished video: available by link for Basic 7 days, Standard 14 days, Premium 30 days, and deleted from storage within 31 days of delivery.
• Order records (your email, order details and payment reference): kept as long as needed for support, accounting and the law.
• The scrambled IP records used against abuse: deleted within a day.

• Cloudflare R2 stores your uploaded photos and your finished video.
• Render runs the server that makes your video from your photos.
• Resend sends our emails, such as the link to your video.
• Lemon Squeezy takes your payment as our merchant of record, and handles taxes and refunds.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that orders and gifts come from people, not bots.

Some of these services store data outside your country, including in the United States.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies at the moment. If that changes, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it sooner. Write to us at hello@pawmemories.app from the email address you used. Some order records may need to be kept for accounting or legal reasons.
